I'm either sick or the allergies are kicking my butt. I blew off a homeschool event today because of it. I'm not on death's door or anything but - call me crazy! - I don't enjoy socializing when my face is like niagara falls. It's just embarrassing to have to snort into a tissue every 5 minutes.
So I followed my usual MO. Whenever I'm sick I end up getting really chatting on the computer. I just sit and type and sit and type. The kids watch videos and make messes and play computer games. Real quality day here!
Ok, so I did read to Owen a bit. Today is Day One of the library reading program. I read him Sponge Bob, Scooby Doo, two Matchbox car books, Mouse Count and a couple other books I can't remember the titles of. We stopped at around half an hour.
We also watched Night at the Museum again today.
Yeah, a slow day. I'm feeling better than this morning (just coughing now - no bodily fluids anymore) so we're going to the library tonight. That's our big plan for the day.
Soup. I need soup.
