So I'm sick. Again. We have big plans this weekend so I've decided it's going to be a Stay At Home week so I can rest and get better. We're missing the Fiber Arts Circle as I'm typing :( The hiking on Wednesday looks like it might be postponed anyway and we'll just have to skip the Thursday and Friday social gatherings. Whew! Sure is hard being a homeschooler and having no one to hang out with huh? ;)
Today is Mom Takes it Easy Day but I was thinking maybe it would take the sting out of cancelling all the social stuff if we had a fun thing planned every day the rest of the week. So I told Bridget my idea and my first suggestion was that tomorrow would be . . . . . . Manicure Day :D I am not what you'd call a girly girl but I can wing it. I got a manicure kit off freecycle for my daughter and it turned out to be fun so I'll do that tomorrow (Owen too - he likes his nails to be shiny after I buff them). I might give Bridget some polish too if I can find where I put it. She kept polishing furniture so I hid the bottle somewhere and can't quite remember where (oops). Maybe a sugar scrub for the feet, a chamomile steam for the face and I'll see what other ideas I come up with on line.
Bridget said "tomorrow's tomorrow" can be Movie Day. She wants to dim the lights and make popcorn and watch movies. We'll think up some other things to keep us going the week.
Right now I think I'll give them two new Pokemon videos I got from freecycle and take a hot epsom salt bath, followed by a nap.
