Branchbrook Park again
Last year we went to Branchbrook Park in Newark to see the cherry blossoms. We went again last week with friends but I forgot to take pictures, lol! No problems, we went again yesterday. I asked on our unschooling list if anyone was joining us but no one was available so we weren't going to go. My kids enjoy the park, but if it's just us? Well, they'd rather stay home then. But then I get an email from a friend who had just seen the email about the previous week's trip. Huh, no wonder she didn't make it! So at the last minute we went yesterday. It was chilly and most of the trees had dropped their blossoms, but we had fun.

The kids playing Go Fish (except for Max over on the left - he's looking at one of Bridget's toys from her homemade "Boredom Kit" she brought).
We found a pair of kid's prescription glasses on the ground. Here's what Owen is going to look at in a few years. Damn, he's going to be even cuter when he gets glasses ;-) By the time we got to the visitor's center it was closed so we put the glasses on the door handle hoping they'd be put in the lost and found today.

Bridget does this a lot. This picture is very much her.
My favorite piece of graffitti from the car shop (?) just outside the park.
