Owen sitting at a school desk. We had to go into a building for a bathroom and we saw these chairs in the hallway. I couldn't resist posing him and taking a few pictures ;-)
The Anthropology department had an archaeology exhibit. It was so cool and the first time ever either kid has shown an interest in archaeology. Sniff sniff. I had to take a ton of pictures of course. This one is Owen flint knapping. This student was very friendly and helpful. Actually, everyone here was great with the kids. I have to remember to write them a letter telling them what a great job they did.
Here's Bridget at the dig section. They had these tubs filled with sand and hidden objects. The little kids just dug out stuff. With the older kids they explained a bit about how it would really be done. I did see Owen drawing his find though ;-)
