I love my Dad but good lord, don't drive with the man. I think he must have had one foot on the gas and one on the brake the entire trip. The constant back and forth, back and forth . . . oy. By the time he dropped me home my head was hurting and I felt like I might puke.
We've had a busy week but it's been all meetings and appointments. The kids had fun though, since they got to spend time with this Grandma or that (today they made soap at my mother-in-law's house).
Funny, this weekend I asked the kids what they wanted to do this week. Bridget said she didn't know. Huh. I would have thought she'd say she wanted to see friends but she didn't mention it. She is a people person, but the people don't have to be her age for her to have fun. A day with Grandma is still exciting :)
Next week is pretty clear cept one doctor appointment for me on Monday (which means the kids again get to hang out with my mom). The week after that the storm starts and we have non-stop activities from the 20th through the 26th. Shoot me now. No, it will be fun, really. But I'll need a break after, I'm sure ;-)
