Roman Numerals

Are they so hard? Really? I'm not talking higher numbers even, just your basic 1 through 10 - everyone knows those don't they?

For Bridget last Christmas I tried to buy Nodwick I and Nodwick II (comic book collections). They sent Nodwick I just fine but we got Nodwick III instead of II. We already owned III so I had to return it (and man, was that a nightmare!).

So for her birthday next week I ordered her Nodwick II (which they sent correctly) and Nodwick IV. Instead of Nodwick IV they sent Nodwick VI. Sigh. Ok, at least this time she doesn't already have it so I'm going to go ahead and give it to her but sheesh.

And this is not the same company that made the last mistake by the way.

I think for Christmas when I buy the missing IV I'll just go straight to the source and buy it from the author (maybe I'll even get V thrown in there too). Now if he messes it up, I won't know whether to laugh or cry :-D
