Today is my tenth anniversary :) Robert is still wonderful, still perfect for me and still makes me happy. If I met him today I'd marry him all over again (and again and again and again) :-)
So what did we do today? First we exchanged gifts. He got me an mp3 player (whoo hoo!) already loaded with music. I got him a really nice Japanese style kitchen knife. This thing is the sharpest knife I've ever seen and I've already cut myself with it (I, um, probably shouldn't be trusted with knives. Or fire. Or walking in a straight line). Then, prompted by Bridget (who has been dying for this for years!) we opened the "time capusle" we were given for our wedding. We never filled it completely but we did read some things we wrote and the kids had fun playing with the wedding favor bubbles we put in there (no one wanted to eat the 10 year old candy almonds though).
Then we took the kids to NYC to the Met since that was our first date. Of course it's different with kids, LOL! Saturday we have tickets to Jesus Christ Superstar (my favorite musical) and we're spending the day just us.
I'll try and come back later and write about the NYC trip and the really cool day at the Turtle Back Zoo with friends Tuesday. I just wanted to get all mushy today :-)
