Angel perched on our video tapes. I wonder which one she wants to watch?

This picture is monumental. They aren't fighting. I think this is the first boardgame they *ever* played together without bickering over rules or crying at losing. They play together well in other things but boardgames? No. Well, til now ;-)

Bridget taught Owen how to do this yesterday.

Today was the judging for the craft bug creations at the library. Neither kid won any prizes but the library had Oreos and juice and a bin for kids to pick toys from so it was ok. Here's Owen showing me the plastic bug he got.

From the garden! The green one was knocked off by a squirrel last week so I'm waiting to see if it will ripen. No cherry tomatoes because they never make it into the house.

The ladybug I found walking on the kitchen garbage can. We're bug central around here and I'm used to beetles, silverfish (in the bathroom), ants in the spring/summer and spiders galore. But for some reason the past few weeks I've been finding a lot of ladybugs. I take them out and release them in my garden.
