Wearing a turkey hat at Grandma's for Christmas.
I can't remember if this is illness related or just "cold weather and mom's too cheap to turn up the heat so we're being silly" related.
Owen and I got hit with a wicked evil bug a few weeks ago. Here he is, having fallen asleep while playing the Wii that Grandma C (my MIL) got us for Christmas.

Phoenix is getting old. Phoenix is the one on top of Robert's shoulder here. The average life expectancy of a rat is 3 and she's 2 1/2 (31 months to be exact). She is having trouble with her back legs (apparently a common old age thing) and we had to rearrange the cage so she could get around easier. This is the worst part of having pets. The old girl is a sweetie, still enjoying food and nesting. I've been giving her a lot of treats.
