So apparently half the world loves They Might Be Giants. I never really got into them for some reason. Well, they recently released an album of science themed kid's songs and I've seen it covered on a few of the blogs I read. No offense meant to their fans, but I didn't really care for the first two I heard from this album. It's hard to make "educational" songs that don't sound stilted and the firstI heard didn't really impress me for that reason. But I really like these two. And so did the kids. So here ya go.
The second one starts, then there's an ad for the site that hosted it, then it re-starts.

We love TMBG!!!!!! I always have loved them (they were one of the first bands I saw live as a teen and, man, what a difference from the mosh pits I was used to, lol). A very happy and bouncy show... I always thought it would be great if they ever started making albums for kids. So we are very happy that they are doing that now. I can understand why some people wouldn't care for their music though.
