Sushi

Last week we made sushi. First we went to Asian Market on Rt. 22. We used to go to Captain Fresh but it closed awhile back. I asked on a homeschooling list if anyone knew of another Asian store to go to and we ended up finding Asian Market which is even bigger and nicer and only a mile or so from where the old store was. All is good ;-)

So we got the makings for sushi and this time we didn't end up with a big, misshapen blob!

Yeah. So I had a cute little video Bridget took and it won't load. I have never been able to load videos on *my* blog spot. Bridget can load them on hers though. So I could go over to her computer and log into my blogger from her computer but then I'd have to send her the video first and you know, it just seems like too much work right now. Bummer.

Homemade sushi! You creative things, you! None of us around here are sushi fans, but it sure looks fun!

Thanks all! I love sushi, but I'm not so good at making it. This day turned out great but then the next two times I tried, the kids wouldn't eat it. Well, practice makes perfect and all.

Kate, I didn't even think of that.
