Phew!

A few weeks ago I said I was starting to feel bad and wondered if I needed more thyroid meds since my bad time of year was starting. Well, shortly after that post I had the appointment and upped the meds.

And here I am, feeling great :) My life is pretty much the same as it was before I upped the meds so it's not like suddenly everything is peaches and that's why I am so happy (not like it was awful before though). But this confirms it for me. My thyroid really is the problem.

Still, things can get . . . busy. We're still working on Grandma's in preparation for the tenant who is planning to move in November. Her lease is up December 15, but she wants to start moving things early and is willing to pay to store things while we are still working. Well, sure, not a problem.

Except then her landlord decided he wanted her out earlier because *he* has a tenant lined up who wants to move in quick. So our tenant is being offered extra money to move out sooner than she was planning.

So she wants to move in October 15. Not just store things, but really move in. That gives us slightly less than 3 weeks to finish clearing the house and then have the place cleaned, cracks in the walls repaired, the whole thing painted and the carpet (only two rooms) replaced.

And my Dad said sure. I should point out he's not doing much of the work, LOL!

Yesterday my sister and I were able to both show up at the apartment and I think we finally have all the family heirloom type things out. So from now on it's not so much sorting as it is just packing things up and moving it somewhere. Goodwill mostly. But sis is working every single day next week. And my Dad doesn't seem to be very useful when it comes to cleaning and packing (plus, even though he's retired, he keeps planning bird watching trips and hikes so he's not available much). So guess who gets to do most of this? Coughcough.

I'm planning to spend two days a week on this. At least I don't have to worry about their schedules. Since they're not available much I'll just plan what works for me (and my mom and MIL who babysit) and if they can meet up with us, they will. If they can't, oh well.

But still, contemplating this stupidity and all the work ahead and I'm *not* horribly cranky and stressed about it? Just sort of laughing and shaking my head? Oh god, I love you armour. I need to take out stock in that company ;-)
